This was my 3rd time to catch Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, and the first time at ACL Live in Austin, my all-time favorite venue.
The band and Jason just continue to hone their craft and get better. Also, I love the way they tinker with their set list to keep things fresh. I am long-time REM fan, and the cover of "Driver 8" was spot on.

MAGICAL!
Absolutely outstanding show! Speechless at times. A lifelong fan was born that night!

JASON ISBELL STILL ROCKIN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
What an awesome performance to end our covid induced concert slumber.
Although we had seen Jason and the 400 unit several times before ; this show was fresh, unique and emphatically more "Rock" forward.
Extended jams, subtle twists on his classics , and the bands high energy kept us dancing in our seats all night.
Jimbo Hart was a sight for sore eyes as usual, and Sadler Vaden rocked the palace out with his own song and center stage gig.
Jason is truly a savant song writer and an incredibly talented musician .
Thanks for helping us find our way back to the sheer joy of live music.

JASON ISBELL VANCOUVER SHOW
So happy to have seen Jason and his band in Vancouver. What great songs and a great voice, I just adore him. But as another reviewer pointed out, the concert could have been better with Amanda. She's terrific!

JASON ISBELL AND THE 400 UNIT IN VICTORIA MARCH 6 2023
Like many others in the Covid era, I had waited over two years to hear Jason Isbell live (the first time for me) and I must say that it was well worth the wait. A great show, with a very good band, but as another reviewer has mentioned, when the band fully engaged, with the exception of Super 8 Motel which is a true rocker, they tended to overpower Isbell's vocals - which I suspect was what most folks were there for. The numbers that featured just Jason and his guitar and/or some subtle support from the band, such as Last of my Kind, Cover me up, Elephant and Vampire, were truly magical. Can't wait for his return!

TRAVELED TO SEE JI AT RED ROCKS - NOT DISAPPOINTED
Red Rocks has been on my bucket list for at least 5 years now and when I saw Jason was coming in May I asked my wife if she wanted to do it and she said, let's do it. I had been excited about this show for months and it did not disappoint. The beauty and natural splendor is enough to leave on in awe. Tie in great music and good people and it doesn't get much better. The first time we saw Jason in Peoria, IL back in 2018 the band was incredible, but Amanda was doing her own show that night. Tonight we got to see the queen and she did not disappoint. She adds that extra element and together they played a great show. The three new Weathervanes songs were a great addition to the set and Cast iron skillet, that was just released two day earlier, is an incredible live song. I would do this trip again.

UNDERWHELMED
What a great voice. Excellent vocals and acoustic guitar. Put the electric guitar in the
closet. Reverb was over the top in the theater, covering up instrumental and vocal.
